Auctions of delinquent / abandoned units usually happen monthly. By law we are required to publicize the upcoming auctions in the local newspaper of record in advance of the auctions. You will find these public notices of upcoming auctions in the public-legal notice sections of the newspaper (in Hidalgo County check The Monitor and in Cameron County check The Valley Morning Star).

Auctions begin promptly at the time stated. Units are sold as a whole. There is usually a minimum starting bid. A $50 cash clean-up deposit may be required of any winning bidder. The auction is conducted by Another Closet Self Storage management. Terms are cash or credit card in full immediately after the sale. Delinquent tenants may redeem their property at any time up to the fall of the gavel. Publicized articles for sale may be removed (without notice) from the sale due to redemption or other reasons. Another Closet Self Storage makes no representation of condition of unit contents. All units are sold AS-IS and there are NO REFUNDS. Registration on the day of the auction is required to participate in the sale. Sales tax is required to be paid unless the buyer has an exemption certificate.
